QRoute was created in 1994. Since that time, with customer feedback, it has developed into a feature-rich product and has become an industry standard in many industries. Following are a few of its many features. Functionality is controlled by the options you set in your desktop computer.  You may turn them on or off as required. They have been grouped into four major categories.

Before leaving on-route

• Count all products that are on the truck
• Add fixed assets like display cases, coolers, merchandisers, or other serialized units
• An inspector confirms the load
• Record beginning truck mileage
• Do a DOT type safety inspection prior to departure

  
On Route

• The day's stops are presented in efficient route order
• Easy entry of common products sold
• Prices and quantities clearly shown
• Return containers (bottles, cases, crates, pallets, racks, etc) are easily entered
• Shows total amount of delivery, with tax, after each product is selected
• Payments are entered and designated as Cash, Check, Barter or Other.  Up to 3 per delivery location
• Signature can be captured with the delivery
• Printed receipt can be generated (including signature if captured)
• Equipment assets can be picked up or added to an account
• Handwritten notes can be generated by the driver
• Sales history can be viewed
• If a customer takes no product, a 'SKIP' reason can be noted
• Customers not on the normal delivery day can be serviced
• Cash sales can be made to non-regular customers
• New Customers can be added into the system via the handheld

  
Returning at the end of the day

• Inventory products remaining on the truck to determine what has been sold
• Count any returned containers like cases, crates, pallets, racks, bottles or other such items
• An inspector confirms the load
• Record ending mileage
• Print out a series of reports that show products used
• Balance out cash, checks, and other payments
• Reconcile products and sales

Other

• Available product can be tracked at any time
• Stops can be re-sequenced for the current day
