Upgrade instructions for QRoute Version 11.0
Note For QuickBooks Users:
This upgrade only applies to:
- QuickBooks US versions Pro, Premier or Enterprise 2007-2011.
- Canadian QuickBooks versions 2008-2010.

Note for Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7 users:
In order to successfully install QRoute version 11.0, download the latest QRoute User Guide and follow the installation instructions covered in Appendix G.
Upgrade Steps to Version 11.0 of QRoute™
- Before the update:
- Contact Sales to purchase the upgrade (or click here to purchase), and obtain a new Serial Number compatible with version 11.0.
(Failure to purchase the upgrade, and continuing to install the update will result in the system being locked.)
- If you are currently using a QRoute version earlier than 10 then, all route cards must be in for the day, and invoices uploaded. If this update is performed while some cards contain data from the old version, that data will NOT be valid, and those invoices will have to be entered by hand.
- Download the latest QRoute 11.0 build by clicking here.
- Make a backup of your current QRoute database:
- On your desktop, go to My Computer > C drive > Program Files > Advantage > QRoute
- Go to Edit > Select All
- Go to Edit > Copy
- Go to File > New > New Folder. Name this folder “Version10backup”
- Double click the Version10backup folder to open it.
- Go to Edit > Paste
- Wait for Windows to finish copying files before continuing.
- Make sure ALL users are logged out of QuickBooks.
- Locate the QRoute 11.0 update file that you downloaded from the QRoute website. Double click on the file to launch the installation wizard.
- Continue through the screens, when prompted for what to install, choose “UPDATE”. Choosing any other option could result in loss of data.
- After the update is complete, open and log in to QuickBooks. Verify you have installed the upgrade by going to Customers > QRoute > About QRoute. The version should say 10.0 (If your version does not say 10.0, please contact QRoute Technical Support at 209-485-9395 for assistance with installing the upgrade.)
- Finally, you will need to do a Morning Card for each of your route cards like you normally would.
